One Platform, Two Jobs: A Closer Look at the EndLine Stacker & Destacker

One Platform, Two Jobs: A Closer Look at the EndLine Stacker & Destacker

One Machine, Configurable to Your Line

Rather than forcing bakeries to buy entirely separate machines for every situation, the Stacker & Destacker is a single, universal platform that adapts to how your line is built. It automates both the stacking and separation of crates, ensuring stable, continuous flow between filling, conveying, and palletizing — whichever configuration your facility requires.

That flexibility matters. Every facility has its own layout, its own crate formats, and its own constraints on space and height. A platform that can be configured to the line, rather than a one-size-fits-all box, means the machine fits your operation instead of forcing your operation to adapt.

The Ground Configuration: Compact, Safe Stacking

In its bottom-discharge ground configuration, the machine builds and releases crate stacks using an elevating conveyor paired with a synchronized gripper. Crates enter one by one, the gripper continuously holds the growing stack, and once it’s complete the stack is discharged from the bottom – all with the vibration-free smoothness that protects both products and machine.

Safety and usability are built in. Light barriers integrated directly into the frame ensure precise alignment and protect operators, while the gripper is engineered to hold the stack securely even during a power failure or loss of compressed air. From the HMI panel, operators select stack height and crate type for quick changeovers between formats, with speed and timing settings protected behind a service password. High-quality Intralox rubber belts ensure precise crate positioning with excellent durability and easy maintenance.

The Ceiling Configuration: Overhead Destacking at Scale

In its overhead configuration, the machine works the other way – automatically separating crates from stacks into a single row and feeding them onto an elevated conveyor for onward internal logistics. It’s an elegant way to supply empty crates to the line while keeping floor space clear.

This configuration is built for serious capacity. Each unit is individually engineered to the project’s maximum stack height and can be configured to handle from one up to five stacks simultaneously. Individual gripping mechanisms let it manage stacks of varying heights without mechanical adjustment, while servo-driven axes guarantee precise motion control – including protection if jamming or abnormal resistance occurs.

Why It Belongs in Your End-of-Line

What makes the Stacker & Destacker compelling isn’t just what each configuration does, but the thinking behind the whole platform. It bridges systems operating at different heights, often resulting in a more compact overall footprint. It safeguards stack integrity against power loss, air loss, and mechanical jamming. And it puts format control in the operator’s hands while protecting critical settings from accidental changes.

The outcome is dependable, hands-off crate handling that keeps the line flowing — turning a task that’s tedious and risky when done manually into one that simply runs.

Built Around Your Operation

Automated stacking and destacking removes one of the most common friction points in bakery production, and the EndLine Stacker & Destacker does it on a single, adaptable platform engineered for safety and reliability.
